Little Info on the Future Mr & Mrs:
Josh: Josh was born in Chatham, Ontario, but we won’t hold that against him, he’s not a Leafs fan! Josh got into golf at the tender age of 5. He got the golf bug from his father’s side of the family. His grandfather was a golf teacher, clearly the nut doesn’t fall far from the tree! His parents, Joy & Brian, were very supportive of his golfing career, even sending him down to Myrtle Beach, SC to the Golf Academy of America to further his dreams. Besides golf, Josh is an avid hockey fan, cheering for the Ottawa Senators since their expansion year into the NHL. Again, thank God it’s not the Leafs! He also enjoys cheering for the Detroit Tigers, a rival of Amy’s team, the Texas Rangers.
Josh moved to BC in 2011 to work as an assistant pro at EagleQuest’s Coyote Creek in Surrey, BC. It was there that he met some amazing people, including his future wife!
Amy J: Amy was born in Langley, BC, her arrival finally gave the small city some awesomeness. She also got her golfing bug from her father’s side of the family, learning the early basics from her Great-Grandfather before taking a serious interest at the driving range with her dad, Rick. Amy started going to Coyote Creek’s Ladies League on Tuesday nights and it was there she caught Josh’s eye. But that story will be saved for another day.
Amy is a die-hard Vancouver Canucks and Texas Rangers fan, so you can imagine that things can get a little chippy in the Huff-Davis house, especially if the Sens-Canucks or Rangers-Tigers are playing each other.
Besides golfing and playing the occasional slo-pitch game, Amy really enjoys finding new ways to
annoy make Josh’s life more interesting.
